Swooped on a Amazon Deals Stanley tool setup to keep in the truck. My tool bag was getting super full and was getting tired of searching for 10mm sockets and wrenches constantly lol. Was like $75?

Always check the obvious when trying to diagnose noises/clunks. Did my uppers last weekend and got rid of my uni clunck but still had a secondary clunck I couldn't find. It's been driving me fucken nuts All week. Pulling shit apart checking everything. Maybe I should've checked my skid plate first :annoyed:.

I have the older version of that crescent set from Costco. Been using it for the last 6 years and still works great. Really need to designate it to permanent truck duty and start building my home set.

I need to go through my tool bag also. Got like 5 of everything in there. You know when you can't find that socket and get tired of looking for it so you go over to the roll away and grab one. Welp do that 10 times then all of a sudden the rollaway is empty and everything is in the tool bag.

Newb question. What tools do I need to carry for a CV swap? Usually have a full socket set (1/2, 3/8, 1/4), breaker bar, wrenches, gear wrenches, channel locks, vice grips, mini sledge, snap ring pliers, needle nose, big sockets/ torx bits for all the drain & fill plugs, 1/2" Impact wrench, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, torx bits, drill, punches, chisels, and a pipe wrench. I don't have a socket for the hub (hence the pipe wrench). Anything else?

Also nuts, bolts, wheel studs, lug nuts, electrical parts, wire, multimeter, hacksaw, tin snips, welding rod... kinda put my toolkit together when I was driving the Scout, which was prone to failure.

I literally got so mad one day rooting around in the tool bag I just dumped it out in the garage. That's when I realized I couldn't find half of the tools I needed, or it took 5 minutes of picking up each frikkin socket to find the right one. Figured a full tool set would work better. Need to just fill the tool bag with the random crap I may need on a trail that the tool set doesn't have

34MM (I think? maybe 35MM?) socket from autozone. Was like 20$ but super glad I got it.
