FS: 16 GB iPhone 3GS - Used But In Good Shape

I have a gently used white iPhone 3GS for sale. I purchased it Jan 31, 2010 and have been careful with it since then. It has some very very light blemishes and scuffs on the screen. It has not been unlocked or jailbroken and will be restored to factory settings. I recently sold an iPhone 3G and received positive feedback for that sale on ebay which I can show you. I'm pricing it based upon ebay pricing. Although they are $200 new with contract they go for a lot more on ebay without the contract. I was shocked too.

 

prices are steep because prices without a contract on phones are hella. but this means u pop ur simcard and it works. but even with that for a 16gb they dont go for that much..i think it would fetch 400 easily tho.

What is the benefit of buying a phone w/o the contract and just getting one at a reduced rate through AT&T? I'd still have to have a data package to use an iPhone right if I just bought it from an individual?

 

^^^The plus side is you can buy the iPhone, unlock it for T-mobile, and only have to pay 50$ a month for unlimited everything. In order to get an iPhone now, you have to buy a 2 year contract. That's why they are so damn expensive even though their used...

 

Ok, so not such a big deal if I'm already AT&T & plan to stay with AT&T? I could see this being a great deal for someone with a different carrier though.

 

The problem is you can't user 3G on Tmobile with an Iphone.

 

I work for at&t & half the office is on T-mobil with no complants & yes they save alot of money

I believe you would have to unlock the phone first. I haven't altered the phone software in any way so unlocking it would be up to the buyer.
