Yeah..but..why? You have no benefit from it as you don't offroad enough is my point. Looks good with the 33s as is. Save yourself the money and work.

not really. I know he just had a kid. And he wouldn't use them really. So why not save the money and buy the kid some nice clothes instead or something else?

I agree. Make it 4wd. And start wheeling.

Sell those silly 18s and get smaller wheels for 33s. You can do plenty on the 33s and save the money from 35s. Seriously.

Make it 4wd. Get a better wheel tire combo with 33s. Drive the hell out if it.

So your advice is to buy clothes for a kid that will be outgrown and trashed inside of 6months instead of doing something for him that he may or may not use but would provide some personal satisfaction. ???

    Yea 255/80r17s

No im saying kids are important and once you have them, their life is more important then yours. Period. You live to make them succeed and flourish. The kid comes first.

at least that is how i look at it. maybe other don't. Idk.

Either way, 33s are TOTALLY fine for offroading in these trucks. Really for the work it takes and the money it takes to get 35s..it really isn't worth it unless you put on serious dirt miles and a ton of them. And even then, idk if its worth it.

Many people on here always say "when i go 35s". But they really shouldn't and don't need too.

Well..its not a very practical mod when it comes down to it at least. 33s are more then capable for what 95% of the people on here do for offroading wise. For the other 3%, they will see a gain in 35s that is worth the effort and cost. the other 2% said fuck it and did a SAS to 37s or larger because they realized tires weren't holding them back, it was the damn shitty IFS haha

    I have 35s. I love them.

I would never run them on a DD truck or a weekend warrior though. I run them on my dedicated offroad only truck. Thats it. The only time Frankenstein moves...is when its to go break him on some dirt road in the back country and back into the shop to fix it.

    I have 33s. I love them.

Drive every day on them. Still okay power. Still okay mileage. Tires are cheap. And i can go camping and do some pretty hardcore offroading still with 0 issues. Costs less. Less wear and tear on other compoents.

    All in all.

Who fuckin cares what i think or say. It's his truck, or your truck, and his money, or your money, and his life, or your life. I don't know him that well. And i don't know everyone on here either well. Spend your money as you wish. :) Tis all my opinion on some irrelevant social web page that i have derived from my own life experiences. :hattip:

I mean no harm to anyone. Just putting it out there. 33s are the best option for a tire with these truck for cost/performance/livability.

I like @jubei777 explanation about it too the other day on 35s.
