Planning to rustproof my 17 DCSB before next winter. The only "Corrosion Free" dealers locally in southern Ontario seem to be Canadian Tire or Apple Auto Glass in Stratford. I would prefer have it rustproofed at a vendor who does it as a primary job, not as an add on to selling tires or replacing windshields. That pretty much means Rust Check or Krown I think.

Anyone in Southern Ontario have a good recommendation for rustproofing dealers? Thanks!

    I totally agree with you...!!
My guy does NOTHING but Corrosion Free and sells aftermarket stuff and does detailing...!! In fact he is adding another hoist so he can do 2 at a time..!! No CTC for me either..! Only use a specialized installer...ie: Rust Chack/Krown type people.... NO Glass shops or CTC.!

I'll check my guy to see if he knows of anyone in the London area and get back, OK.?

I always get my truck rust check'd. it is a thicker coating than krown and it doesn't drip all over your driveway/garage. krown was started by some old rust check people. they both work equally. Rust check costs a few bucks more.

2017 OR, anyone else seeping oil? It's minor but curious if other people have the same issue.

That could be a picture of my rear diff. Same spot weeping on both, the left & right sides of my 2016 OR.
Seems to be no recall on the OR's yet

Jim Pattinson Victoria, I never bothered to check the VIN since it was already being fixed.

@Khrolar How did you convince them to replace the diff? I made a complaint, test drove and they identified the noise but they didn't have any other trucks to compare with. They said they'd look into it and get back to me.

I didn't. That's the best part. I literally left it with them and said it has a whistling happened from 20km/h to 120km/h. They called the next day and said they would completely replace it. There was no bitching on my part or anything.
Really it was a stroke of luck, since I wasn't in the mood to argue with the service rep, as my dad had thought he had a heart attack that morning and was in the hospital. I probably would have left her crying in the end....

I got my squeaking leaf spring replaced, no hassle. They were originally going to put in a new front bushing for the driver side leaf, but I guess it didn't fix the noise

Wow, that's awesome service! I've had mixed experiences with jp so far so good to know they're addressing it proactively.
