New to Tacoma world and was Just wondering what you guys think about this lift. It is a 3" coilover with bolstering 5100s front fox 2.0 non res rear and a long aal which should help with towing over blocks.
    http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/mobile...orce-suspension-package-2005-2017-p33238.aspx.
I off-road only about 1 time a month and harder things like Moab elephant hill maybe 1-2 a year. I just went with my silver taco which only has a level kit which did ok. All the other trucks I've owned have had lifts or levels on them so didn't have to stress. So I recently bought a Tacoma 2012 OR TRD and it's bone stock. Not sure if I should just 3 " level it or do this lift or other? Looking for some guidance!

I've never seen this particular "kit" however the components included are all quality parts. As long as you're not looking to do a lot of fast offroad driving you'd be very happy with it. I would look into upper control arms as well, they will help you keep your proper alignment and improve your suspension travel.
If you do want to drive fast for extended periods of time you'd want to look into a 2.5" body front coilover which holds more oil to keep it cooler.

That is what I was thinking the same thing with the name brand parts but still hoping someone that has purchased or had a friend or family member run it with some pro cons. The 2.5 does make sense but I can't really remember the last time I've hit it hard with speed for a longer period of time. Just looking for a good ride off and on road that won't break the bank and this won is 1100 if I do it myself or 1400 if they do it. Btw I'd probably at the most put a 285 75 16 on but may stay with the 265 75 16.

The title to this had me thinking this was some kind of Spec Ops group run by a guy named Fat Bob who uses predators.. either the missle kind or the alien kind.

I don't think I've heard of a long vs short AAL. Typically there is the single AAL and the progressive AAL that guys/gals on here run. I'm guessing the single deaver AAL is of the short variety which makes this long AAL different.

I would also agree on looking into UCAs if your going a full 3in

Really this is what I'd go for along the lines of the same budget but more bang for your buck.

Hi guys so I am pretty sure I am going to order the bilstein 5100s with the emu coils and light racing ucas and not sure on the set for the coils 884,885 or 887 for good on road and off-road. Not looking to put a new bumper on yet and not a fan of bull bars. So should be stock weight looks like. Last but not least they have the 2 choices of aal and I really don't understand the difference? I could use some help and thank you all so far for the great advice and help! Oh and if anyone can direct me to a good video or instructional pictures for install. I would love to save money and do it myself plus the feeling of accomplishment is there. Thank you guys again. Oh and can you guys tell if that kit comes with the diff drop. Thank you thank you!

Did you read the last post in that thread?

Pretty much a non-issue and they seem to have good relationships with other vendors on here.

You can call or pm Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road and she can walk you through it all.
My vote would be for the 885 coils and HS 3 leaf AAL.
