Has anyone ever removed a 3in body lift before? Is it as simple as just removing the pucks and putting the truck back down on the frame? Wondering how much of a pain in the ass it would be.

I would think a 3" body lift would involve fan shroud relocation wouldn't it?

 

and probably bumper relocation brackets? I guess I would just have to hope those aren't welded on...

 

maybe gas filler neck too?
Have to be careful not to pinch any wires or cables when you lower it back down.

Slow and steady wins the race when you are removing a body lift.

 

And a steering joint extension.
