    I've had good luck showing up in person for collecting payments.

    I go as many times as needed, if it's conveniently located on my normal routes then I've gone every day.

    But seriously.. phone calls are never taken seriously, and I don't think collection agencies are either. I'd go in person, make repeat visits as often as is convenient for you and I'd bet you get those taken care of, at least to an extent.
