I am not looking to slam it, just 2-3 inches below stock.

I saw some 4x4 Tacoma's that are low stock, or at least they look stock.
Just looking for a safe way of dropping it, not wanting to go under the axle with the leaf, I think that would be to low.

I have 265s on the truck now, but then i added an addaleaf (because the truck stock spring was to soft with a load)

The add a leaf it jack the rear 2 inches , so i had to bump the front up 2 inches to match the rear. I much prefer a lower stance and with not much sag in the rear when i have a load.

Maybe some r- sprung leaf springs to lower the rear, not sure how to drop the front.

    No mods whatsoever!
Pick up the radiator cap and drive a 2WD underneath it.

I think everyone missed what the OP was asking or maybe I am. I think he only wants to return it to the factory 4X4 stance. He is looking to get rid of the spacers and add a leaf. I think.

that's pretty much the only option, but if wanting to bring it lower than even stock stance, there isn't too much you can do...

you could always trade it in for a Honda Ridgeline which has AWD, but with front and rear double wishbone, you should be able to cut the coils to bring it closer to the ground?
