I'm making my annual pilgrimage to take my parents out to their house on the cape today. I'll wave to you south shore folks as I drive by. I'm hoping for the heavy rain to hold off until this afternoon - I should be there by then. Doing the Pike Polka and then hitting the 495 autobahn in heavy rain is no Bueno...

And you usually can get the noise to go away for a second by swerving left and right quickly like NASCAR drivers warming up their tires
Awesome!!! That's going to look fantastic!

    Morning Everyone

Wow you're pretty lucky lol I couldn't believe how fast they sold out. Was really hoping to get a set but I guess I'll have to look into other wheels

I go down there couple times a week for work and to see my parents, and your comment about the 495 autobahn is spot on. Driving home the average speed is probably 85, and sometimes I am the slow one. State cops will fly up on your ass going close to 90, clear the way, then bomb through close to 100 and everyone just follows along like its no big deal.

It sure is. I use 495 as my main highway to go anywhere. Only area I slow down to 70 is in Foxboro by the 95 intersect and the next exit at 140. Cops like to sit in the median for that 2 mile stretch. Other than that is 80.

I was on my phone refreshing the page at 9:00. I was just about to go look for updates on the thread here when it loaded with available inventory. If I'd left the page I probably would have missed it.

Found something for @DoubleRGirl this morning:

GF and I are driving to DC, then to a resort in North Carolina for a couple of days, then back into DC. I'm flying home late Wednesday night, and one of her girlfriends is flying in Thursday AM and they're touring down in SC and Georgia for another week, then driving home.

Thats a good trip planned. I went to DC as a kid and it was cool seeing all the monuments and stuff. The National Air and Space Museum was one of the coolest places I've ever been. Would love to go back there as an 'adult'.

Air and space is on the list. Specifically vintage planes and cars.

    Morning.

Just dropped off the Vette wheels to be swapped over to the BBS. The nervous anticipation is killing me. I mounted a set of base wagon wheels last night just to have the car sit on something while I was doing the swap and realized I like them more than I should (some people regard the base wagon wheels as the ugliest OEM wheels ever made). Also, let's discuss I have 3 sets of wheels for that car (and 3 sets of wheels for my Tacoma).

Anywhos...I watched the basketball game last night and immediately realized why I don't watch basketball anymore. The flop is real.

    Last night's flop

How about winning basket upon athletic skill and not acting.

I get a slight shudder when starting from a stop and that's @mach1man001 said it might be that causing it.

I'll sell you my OEM wheels and tires for the cost of a set of 265/75 KO2s for the black TRD faux beadlocks sitting in my cellar?

Doesn't fit my long term wheel and tire plan but good enough!

I watched a clip of Michael Jordan's final game with the Bulls on YouTube and the NBA was a different league back then.
