    Love these guys!

I saw them along with fear factory open for lamb of god in 2005 at the house of blues in chicago. One of the best shows i have seen, at one of the best venues to see a show, its amazing i made it out of there without an injury!!

Has Spotify been acting up for you guys lately? My app is being a complete bitch and won't load a thing.

Pandora will load just fine, if not, even better and faster too. So I know it's not my internet.

Sucks cause I pay for Spotify and having to hear the cluster fuck of ads from Pandora is a drag.

I honestly missed the nu metal boat..I was way into the death metal scene during the early 2000s era, so i haven't ever heard a Mudvayne record..never listened to Korn or those bands. Prolly to old to revisit at this point

And I don't mean I've never heard a Korn song, the rock stations definitely still play em...but I haven't ever heard this one..there were bands that kind of cemented their era..never listened a Deftones album, Stained or Godsmack, because I was in a different place..so I never revisited anything from then because I'm pretty stuck in my ways

I didnt listen to ld50 all the way through until last year bored at work looking for stuff to listen to on prime. Never too old!!

I never did like the nu metal scene, however there were a few good songs, mushroom head wasnt too bad, and korns first album kicks absolute ass. I dont consider that album nu metal though.

Deftones kick ass, i started getting heavy into them over the past 8yrs or so... im 33 so i was in the prime demographic when all these guys were popular and didnt pay much attention. I got sick of death metal and wanted something else and started revisiting older bands that i kind of blew off.

Listen to ld50 though, its a good album.

    Cool, I will.

Weird story. I remember two things from September 11th, 2001. I worked at a record store, so we got promo stuff in advance...and I had a huge Subway poster that was 5 feet tall in my room. It said "God Hates Us All on September 11th." The new Slayer album was dropping that day. Then my girlfriend called and told me to turn on the television that morning. I couldn't wait for September 11th prior..I am still surprised I didn't join the military that day..

I like earlier deftones stuff. Their new stuff is good but I'm not into it.
Now that is freaky. I never realized they released that album on that date.

I like all Deftones. Their earlier stuff I like best, but their new stuff isn't bad.

Also digging Palms and Team Sleep.

Kinda of an unknown group. They sound just like old Helmet. Also were just signed to Relapse.

If u have not seen them live, go check them out. Easily one of the top 5 best bands i have seen live. Solid musicians, and chino can still sing like he used to and is damn entertaining on stage! My wife and i saw them a few years ago, and it kicked ass!

:anonymous: I've never been to a concert. But I've seen videos of them live and they seem like one of the bands that sound super solid in person.

Hard to believe how much has changed since then. Great time for music though. So many good bands came out in the 90s.
