Ok Driving to work a full size PU with custom exhaust pulls in front of me, immediate get a fuel smell and windshield starts misting up. a short bit later he exits and misting and smell immediate goes away.

Riddle me this, what the hell did he do to let that amount of fuel to go through engine and not combust and leak that out his exhaust? Blown Cylinder?

Ko2 people.. did you notice a huge mileage drop when you installed the tires?

After the needle bearing was fixed, i got the best gas mileage in years (17) with the duratracs at 32psi

I put the skinny ko2s at 35psi on with the same diameter and I'm currently looking at the sorriest mileage in a long time (14mpg) over two tanks.

Only other difference is no skids to having the front to installed. The tire weights are almost the same.

I honestly think there may be a batch of crappy gas going around the stations in Denver right now. My last two tanks have been bad too and I havent changed anything about my truck. :notsure:

Saw this beauty on Wads yesterday. Why did older trucks/jeeps..etc have leaf springs in the front instead of coil springs? :anonymous:

I like to hear that. The first bad tank i attributed it to the fact that there was snow, slush... But now I've been babying it even more, and still horrible.

The ko2s are 49 pounds vs 45, which doesn't seem like enough to kill the mileage that much. Also seems like less of a contact patch should be better.. Or at least the same, not worse for mileage.
I'm guessing I'll be getting 260 miles out of this tank... Not gonna work.

So... People say the e rated sidewalls are crap for mileage vs the c. And those weight differences are only 6 pounds. So maybe that weight is the issue. :annoyed:

So before Coil Springs were invented, they have used Leafs all the way around since basically the model T. IFS invention is actually what made leafs go away from front (as well as solid axles...)

    oh, Happy BDay Aaron!
