I had a '96 with the 4.0 and a Manual transmission and it was a great SUV. Never should have sold it; had 196k on it and it still ran like a top, didn't leak, and didn't have rusty rockers or floorboards.
But, I needed a truck, and at that point I couldn't afford to keep two vehicles, so instead I get to kick myself for selling it, lol.

mine was an early 90's, bought it as a repaired salvage title, only one issue, it leaked when it rained, both windshield and rear window, got really nasty inside. I didn't mind but when we had the first kid wife said time to go. I looked for over a year but couldn't find another with manual trans. Even thought about other ways to keep it, but ended up with my first taco, 95 4 speed 4 banger.

Edit: At least I think it was 4 speed (memory is fuzzy)

I'd possibly pick up a manual Cherokee as a trail beater. I'm getting kind of sick of fixing my FJ lol

No worries, it's more idle curiosity than anything. The stock steelies are getting rusty and I'm debating between having them sandblasted and resprayed, or just buying a new set.

Yeah I always feel like I'm doing 55 on the highway, I look down and I'm like "shit this doesn't feel like 80!"

I'd take the Y2K over anything else. Iconic for that body style.

Wagon wheels would look decent on a muscle sedan or wagon.
I have, and I have a lot more to do... It's gonna have the entire suspension rebuilt soon. RIP money.
Seems risky.. Also didn't answer the question. lol
But I want a solid axleeeeeeeeee :pout:

My "deals" are not really what you would call deals. Usually my prices are close to or even a little above Amazons prices. At least they are on the stuff I have asked about

I'd really have to try really really hard to resist the urge to cannonball him. I'd shout it on my way in of course.
