Plumbers were there today working on the sub slab drains

We took the tarp off the back roof section and applied the peel & stick to that roof section while it was nice and sunny today

I need to frame an exterior attic door on a gable end of house. Any suggestions? there won't be steps to door just set up a ladder to provide workers a better access instead of cheap interior fold down ladder. Going up in a few hours to cut it open.

Doing a an attic cleanout, I'm repiping it, ac duct removal, then spray foam. Lots of in and out of attic. I like a lot of old German style houses around me have an exterior attic stairway but I won't be converting attic just need good access for awhile.

At my local lumberyard you can get cut down prehung doors , I would be inclined to go that route especially if the spray foam you mentioned is going in the rafters and converting your attic to conditioned space

And get the door as an outswing then you won't have leaks around the door itself

Rainy day project. Promised my daughter I'd have a swing up for her by the weekend. Supposed to rain all weekend and did all day today but I did it anyway. Ran cable between 2 trees on old garden hose against tree, a turnbuckle, some clamps, and conduit between chains to keep separation. Cost me about $65 including new swing and trapeze thing.

p.s. I'm a little anal about the lawn so I didn't want a swing set to mow around and just generally be in the way
