    Going to be redoing the rear suspension on BabyT. Any suggestions for mid travel? I know Marc has the pelfreybilt hoops but I thought they discontinued that. Any new contenders? Haven't looked into mods in about a year in hopes to not spend money.

    Bamf shock relocation and a shackle flip with dakars or allpro springs. Rattletrap fit a Ford 14inch shockctower in there too I think. Which is better travel and cheaper than bamf

    I almost pulled the trigger on BAMF two years ago when they did the group buy with kings. Seemed like a good route. Hopefully I can find a good welder to get them on for me.

    If I had BabyT. Id get the TC +2 LT kit for the front. Your ORIs should work fine with it as they are 8'' long, might need to flip the top hat or something.

    And for the rear TC just came out with a bolt in SUA setup. Super nice and pulls 14'' of travel. Not cheap. But very nice kit. They also have a nice shock relocation kit for it.

    They can send you the HD deaver springs too or you can just get them made custom by Deaver for more weight as needed.

    Would be insanely capable, haul ASS over stuff but not too wide and would crawl great.

    That's how i'd setup a 2nd gen if I owned one. Be the best all around setup I think you could get without doing really crazy custom stuff.

    Camburg I think is coming out or did come out with a similar nice bolt in Mid travel setup.

    Don't bastardize BabyT with a fuckin shackle flip. It's all hearsay.

    No bad!

    Bit old..camera on that one is not killer..

    GTFO.

    A shackle flit kit is retarded on 2nd gens. It's hilarious how people think they are better. Only better if you swap to a long ass spring like chevy 63 which is all custom new hangers.

    Also there is no way Dakars with a shackle flip are using the 14s correctly or to their full potential.

    The inverted shackle design is actually quite nice.

    Agreed do not shackle flip baby t! Bamf kit is a good option if nobody is doing hoops anymore. Dakar or all pro standard packs would be good for your weight unless you have 300+ in the bed then expos. Mine have been great for 3 years on the truck now.

    Just what I read. I'm sure he can give his opinion with them. Lots of people have tested the flips with dakars and what not. Cheaper solution but may not be the best you are right.

    people think it gives them more travel but really it just moves it down lower. But people are obsessed with down travel and really up travel is king. And putting a shackle flip on a spring designed for an inverted shackle kills them. Wear out super fast.

    I think all be doing a good amount of research on this one. I am guessing the move will be 3-4K out of my savings. So I'll have a good 6 months before I feel comfortable about spending cash.

    Could I do the TC shock hoops without the SUA kit? Looks like they work together but not sure if I could slowly piece it together.
