I believe it lol. I was pretty active on there for a long time. I stopped checking in as much, it seems it has has gotten a lot slower. Not surprising considering almost everything that can be done with these goats, has been done and documented. It's still a great knowledge base and "how to" guide, although a lot of people stopped hosting their pictures online, so a lot of the pic-by-pic tutorials are useless now.

clearly we both weren't all that wise! :p

Ha ha...long story that involved beaters, Magnums (!?), and other options. Ended up with the Taco and enjoying it! But, yeah, I went used with a little higher miles, so I didn't spend a fortune, but it isn't exactly cheap. Still:

Many (45?) years ago in Saint Albans Vermont we were doing "snow guards" on a USPS office, the contract called for them the be finished with "rust preventative paint"--we being from Cape Cod didn't bring any, just figured we'd stop in a local hardware store and buy some--that's where things started to go bad.

Went in and asked the clerk for "rustoleum" paint, he says "rust what?" whereupon we explained the notion of "rust preventative paint". Still confused he hollered to someone in the back "Hey Zeke¹, ever hear of rust paint?".

Well Zeke came forward and we restated our quest, to which Zeke said "Rust paint, never heard of it--something's got a mind to rust paint ain't gonna stop it."

You know what, Zeke was right...

Drove to town today for shopping and on the way home a wild turkey flew over and shat all over my windshield! Thank goodness it was raining...washed it off.

That is a great looking truck. My truck is a base Prerunner and it came with the non-painted grill. I took it to a body shop and had the grill surround painted and it really made a difference in the look. You should consider having that done to yours.

Yeah, but the body shop only charged me $100. I think it was well worth it.

Thanks man! Do yourself a favor and wear a glove on the hand used to remove the drain plug. That rear diff oil smells stank!

Easy, I still need to run wiring for the temp sensor, but that'll all be done when I do the big wiring project for my overhead switch panel.

    36,000 service today:
    oil+filter
    air filter
    cabin air filter

I bought the spark plugs, but I didn't get around to it due to a nasty head cold. I'll knock those out next week, and take it for a tire rotation afterward.

Fun fact: Autozone's system came up with the "OE" plug being a platinum. They only had Bosch available, and not in stock. I bit the bullet and went to the dealer for OE resistor plugs, $3 a piece.
