    :( Annie darted out the door when I got home from work.... she was eating a bird :puke: got it away from her - thinking it must have fallen out of a nest either last night or this morning

    Love the name

    give her my best!!! Hope it's a cool day.

    Loved to run in the rain

    :pout: haven't been there in 18 years.

    :popcorn: how'd that go?

    :wave: evening boys

    She had a series of x rays done and found out her lungs are clear but has an enlarged heart . The vet listened to her heart but no signs of a murmur and her lungs are clear . The vet believes she may have a mild / moderate asthma condition

    I was told by the Vet to video her when she has the next attack so the they can diagnose the issue better

    Nice. I haven't taken the plunge on their Premier series yet. Several more there you can add to the collection.

    You know there is this thing called enabling right ?? LOL And yes the pebbled effect does nothing to prevent vacuuming of slices to the blade. I spoke with the owners daughter .. who I remember when she was 16 .. Anyhow she had thought the same thing for it or the hollow ground tired both nope still vacuums slices to the blade lol. He touched up the blade before putting it back in the box. It had been a while like ohh 3 years since last I was in did give him a couple of companies to check with for one of his machines needing parts. He laughed when he saw the axes, he knows I can sharpen things to a degree saw the axes and was like you should be able to do them yourself ( he has known me for 25 years ish) I said nope not this steel no idea of it's composition it is however , hard as tool steel if my files and stones are any gauge.

    Oh well the knife is nice in the hand the belly on the handle helps me control it with my hands so we shall see when and If I buy another. I want to use this one for a while see how long the edge holds etc. It is by far heavier then my old carbon bladed Chicago cutlery and even the one wusthof blade I have.

    Hope you get the edge life from it. Shun's usually go all the way to a 16 degree vs. the Germans at around 20. Still VG-10 at the core.

They are used to my knives being pretty sharp but umm I do not think I have ever had a kitchen knife that sharp it is new so jury is out for now how well it will stand up. Tired from work .. it is only 2011 hrs sure it is not food coma :}
