I like it. Its a cool game. Found a graphics mod that updates the graphics too.

I need to get that for HL2 too..

But its fun. I love Starwars games. I have Force Unleashed II as well, interesting take on some stuff.

Battle Front and Battle Front 2 though..best.

Haven't played the new one but i've heard it's great.

Played Unleashed II back when. Kinda cool.

As for the Star Wars Fps mom games. Meh. Played bet on the most recent. Not my thing.

Online FPS are all the same now. Don't find them fun anymore. The console porting of the old Call of Duty games killed FPS for me. And I'm talking OLD CoD pc only games.

Im still a die hard COD4 dude. Love it on PC. Amazing its still alive. MW2 was cool other then the fucking lobby BS they decided to do. Game is dead now.

BF2 was fun, was the only 3rd person shooter i ever liked.

Nice. Makes sense with Stellaris releasing it's expansion just recently. Putting out cheaper copies of the game will drive expansion sales.

I finished Dark Forces II a couple of weeks ago. If you want to play the older Lucas Arts games from when they were the best FPS games on the market there are lots of mods out there that allow DirectX 9.0 and beyond cards to work with the old DOS games.

Shoot, I'm still having fun with GTA V offline and on. They keep updating new modes and races, it's fun with a lot of others racing.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
It's all good. Eventually I'll start piecing stuff together for something that isn't a crappy laptop/laptop replacement.

Pretty sure your outdated laptop can't compete with my outdated desktop... or maybe it can?

I have yet to find a game that can cause any problems with my (i know I joined the darkside years ago) AMD Phenom II x6 processor. But apparently I went wrong with a dual fan cooled ATI card that burned out wayyy to early on me. ASUS probably has some sort of recall issued that they may or may not have posted years ago, but since I didn't care to begin with, I constantly deal with it's lack of "sensor cooling" all the time.

    Time for Ryzen my friend:

    http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-1600-vs-AMD-Phenom-II-X6-1090T/3919vsm417

It's kind of cool to see how AMD's last true six core stacks up against Ryzen. As you'd expect, Ryzen blows the doors off it. Basically it's 100% faster lol.

I went Ryzen and I have no regrets. I waited patiently for most of the ram hiccups to be cleared up and now, with the newest BIOS, I have zero issues.

My processor isn't actually the problem, it's more or less the ram that's not up to par and the graphics card that doesn't like to OC anymore. Not sure why but some sort of the sensing program or solder burnt on my graphics card and it doesn't cool off in time and then shuts down my computer sometimes.

Yeah, 3200 MHz is becoming the new standard gaming ram speed since it's fairly cheap and most boards can handle it no sweat.

That sucks about your card. The problem is too if you step up to a current gen card your Thuban will definitely be the bottle neck. You're probably looking at a complete upgrade when you're ready to move on.

I'm not sure if I want to upgrade my comp anymore and just find a new hobby to spend my money on haha.

Yeah I've seen Stellaris peak over 9 GB when playing large maps with tons of factions.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Most cell phones have more ram than your PC.

Prey is worth it IMHO. Quick review:

Overall if you find this on sale in a month or two for under $40 and want to burn up 12-20 hours playing a fun FPS with a lot of action adventure and a little bit of RPG mixed in this game is for you. Really what impressed me was the story. I feel like a lot of reviewers are getting caught up in the System Shock story line comparison which is silly. As a guy who has read about System Shock but never got around to playing it this game feels great both on a story and playing level. It felt to me like someone stuck Deus Ex and Half Life in a blender and only the good parts fell out into a game that makes you question whether your chair is going to try and kill you if you play too late.
