Hey all, definitely not going to make C&C. FIL fell, EMS was called, and we're at the ER now. He's 78 and has a slew of medical issues, but we don't think this is going to be anything critical. He's pissed, so that's a really good sign.

There's no mercy - that ship sailed. People have outright quit TW because some members called them trolls. The warnings have been given for a year, and it appears there just isn't any patience anymore. Religious baiting is also a fast ban - I should know. The one time I got a week vacation (over a year ago) was posting "sacrilegious" pics in the Funny Pics thread because one annoying member kept reporting everyone for things that offended him. He was eventually permabanned, but I was still being dickish. I learned my lesson.

Atxlaketaco was already on thin ice from warnings previously given - this must have simply been the last straw.

Word to the wise - don't be a dick and you won't get banned. Easy.

 

Agreed that people are becoming more ruthless in a lot of threads, and it's starting to get out of hand. I can understand a swift punishment to get the point across, which makes sense since he has gotten warnings before.
