I agree. Either money in hand or a truck, an undamaged one like he thought he bought. There are huge fines for this kind of crap but unfortunately it still goes on. Hopefully it's nothing more than a crooked decal but I would want piece of mind.

Ever since I saw a video of a factory worker (not Toyota) eye-balling badge placement I can't stop looking for crooked badges... there are many. Even if they are straight they are not necessarily in the same place on different vehicles. The LT badges on the sides of my friends Tahoe are at least an inch from matching each other. I was shocked they didn't use some sort of placement jig.

What's crazy is that I wasn't even looking for it. I just happen to notice it. Now that I know it's crooked, it really stands out every time I see it. I understand some may feel that it's not a big deal but if a person can glance at it and immediately notice that its crooked on a brand new $42K truck, yeah then it's not unreasonable for one to have an expectation to have it applied correctly.

Now I'm totally checking mine out first thing in the morning! My dealer sticker (free advertising) is crooked and it's driving my wife crazy so it's time to get the trusty hair dryer out and take care of that.

I like how you kept the factory wheels with the mods - looks good with all the use of black. I'm sure I'm in the minority but I like the OR wheels...

Dealer advertising sticker? When ordering the truck I asked the dealer to not apply any dealer stickers or plaques on the truck when it arrived. A licence plate frame is cool, I agreed to the dealers license plate frame

I ordered mine too and said the same thing. They said oh yeah that's fine, no problem. When taking delivery they said, oops, forgot about that and sorry. Now I'm stuck with it until I take it off...

I'm happy with my dealer thus far, they were very attentive and took care of me before and after the sale. My dealer drills holes in front bumpers and installs state mandated front license plate frames on all of their vehicles. On the day I took delivery I was surprised to see that my truck did not have a front license plate frame. The dealer provided the license plate frame uninstalled. When I inspected the truck I noticed a hand written note on the dash with bold letters, no stickers, no front license plate frame. When I inquired about it my dealer explained that he wanted to give me the option if I wanted holes drilled in the front bumper or not. I appreciate that he gave me the option, something they generally do not do.

I measured the stripes on this thing and they are dead center all the way down, and it's a 42 piece stripe kit. Can't see how Toyota can mess up a single sticker that bad.

I just noticed you are in Spring... I'm in The Woodlands. Is your dealer Fred Haas?

I also got mine without the Front plate holder (from Gullo) as I planned to get a no-drill holder later; but, they were not immediately available... after 5 months I figure I'll take my chances without one... I don't plan on breaking any laws and have a 100 Club sticker. You ever have any trouble around here with any of your vehicles (or acquaintances)?

Hey neighbor, I'm actually before The Woodlands in Springwoods Village but most are not familiar with this new area. I purchased mine from Joe Myers. Nope no problems. I don't have a front plate on my M235i either and have never been pulled over, at least not for that. Spirited driving and exceeding the speed limit is another story, even then no hassle about not having a front plate and no tickets for speeding either. The traffic and law enforcement in this area are cordial and are more inclined to let you slide provided that everything is in order.

Well shit, now my OCD has been triggered and I'm heading down to the garage to see if my stickers are on straight.

Glad you fixed it. Crooked stickers/emblems are a nightmare for graphic designers. What's funny now, is not much bothers me now on my 2003- gauge the paint while installing new bumper? Meh... Get bedliner on parts that aren't meant for it? Meh... But when it was new to me, I was on top of everything :D Good looking rig OP!
