I haven't been able to find much on it, but with a lot of pickups the bed alignment can go out of whack, is that the same with the newer tacos? I am starting to wonder if when they did the body work a bolt holding the bed came loose, especially since I am getting rattlying and klanking out of that area...

    None yet! It's new!
My '09 has the new 4-leaf springs on the back (TSB was done) and it still leans a bit. Maybe an inch, maybe a little less. It's really not a big thing. It will never be perfect. Parking with one wheel high isn't going to "tweak" anything either, whatever that means. These trucks are tougher than you might think. Drive it and forget about it. JMO.

Was this the insurance companies choice? I would have fought that tooth and nail. Cutting the frame will probably void any warrenty with Toyota for rust protection, ect. Additionally, it will NEVER be the same, I don't care how great a shop is... very very rarely will it never be noticably diffrent.

If the front of your bed is aligned to the cab, and the back is leaning... the frame is twisted in the bed section. if the twist is after the suspension connections it's probably not a big deal except anesthetically, but if it's prior it can cause other issues like driveline vibrations, suspention clicking (it might not do it while you shake the bed, but driving and g-forces will put a lot more stress on it than you shaking it around). Is the work guarenteed? Was it insurance paid? I'd be following up to get this resolved, even if it ment taking legal action to get it resolved. After the insurance does the repairs, it should be back to the state it was prior to the accident... which includes not having a twisted hacked up frame.

As for the AAL TSB... at first it can level it out a bit (if htey just do the rear leafs, if they do all shocks and leafs it'll probably level everything out). However over time, it'll start settling again and revert back to the lean.

Everything was insurance paid. I think it was over 8000 in repairs, and it was a months of work. The shop is very reputable, and it is the shop that if the insurance company is paying you go there. Everything went through the other guys insurance because it wasn't my fault. I will look into that. The frame was cut off behind the wheels, just in front of the hitch.

I also have the Rear Taco Lean with the drivers side being lower. I will follow chris4x4's advice and have my local spring shop add more arch to just my drivers side AAL. Hopefully the added arch won't be too much to have the reverse effect that I have now.

15,000 miles, and multiple wheeling trips and snow banks and I'm still level (with an empty gas tank).

Ah, mine's not... it reverted back to the same lean.

Also, you know you have the right to use any shop you chose, insurance companies will try to trick you into thinking you have to go to xyz, but by law they can't force that. TBH, any shop that would do frame repair on a truck like this unless requested by the owner (usually heavily modified vehciles)... loses my respect instantly.

The reason I said you take it to this shop when insurance pays is because they amount they charge. They are the top body shop in the area, and they charge outrageous labor rates, but when insurance picks up the tab it's my #1 choice.

Well I just found out what is wrong... I pulled the truck out back at work with a tape measure in hand, and right as I crawled under it, I saw I have a broken leaf spring. Fabulous.

Anybody have suggestions on a replacement leaf pack? I am going to do it myself, and I am not really looking at doing a lift

BST for someone selling off their stock suspension after a lift.
