I run them on a manual four banger with 4.10s and can still use 5th over 60mph. Not bad at all. With 285s, 5th would be gone completely.

My main hobby is moto...so I do a lot of fire roading to get where I need to go. None of it particularly nasty...but enough to need an all terrain. BFG's are about as aggressive as I would ever go

Does anyone know what the lightest 255 AT's on the market these days are? My load E 265's run at about 47-48 lbs...so if I can get real close to that weight-wise...that would be enough for me to make the switch over. If I can't find anythiong close, I'll probably go the 235 route :bored:

Best best is to check the weight of Cooper S/T Max or Maxxis Bighorns b/c I'm pretty sure the BFG KM2s are the heaviest option in 255

I'm really thinking about picking up the maxxis, haven't seen a bad review and the pricing is about the same for my 235/85 at2's...

I'm assuming these are very new, so I have no idea what the distribution is on them yet.

Towards the bottom of the page click on Print Sizes And Specs.
