Happy Saturday morning all:hattip:. Got back last night from our 2 week road trip of which about 2800 miles of the 3750 miles was driving in the rain...but all in all, a good trip (wife didn't kill me).

Morning all. Been in the 90's this week, and this morning, a cold rainy day?

We've been around 100 most of the week and now were looking at 70's and 80's with a chance of rain the 1st of the week. I'm pretty sure this will be our last cool down. I'm hoping it last a while but, historically, by memorial day it's rippin' hot. I just bought a sunshade for working that weekend, but I'll take advantage of this little cool down to get a couple last "on the ground" projects done at work. Got a few more hundred feet of conduit to get in the ground and capped...maybe we'll get the wire pulled in the next couple weeks.

@US Marine and @Martin64 -On the home page there is a thread about the lowest mileage tacos. I think you both are some of the lowest I have seen. Maybe you already know of this thread, just throwing it out there.

Yes, we both posted our mileages and were added to the spreadsheet. It'll be interesting to see where my truck is (mileage) in a year from then.

When I was in San Diego I racked up a lot of miles (50 a day just commuting). Now it maybe 5 or 6, so it'll be interesting.

On my motorcycles I racked up 10,000 to 13,000 a year. I bought my last bike in 2013, moved to Yuma in 2014 and now that bike still only has less than 14,000 miles. So I don't see getting a whole lot.

My 2015 Jeep Wrangler has around 20,000 but there are a few trips back and forth to NorCal on it, plus my wife is driving it and we use it mostly for running around town. So it gets the most use.

My commute is 30/day and I usually want to drive my truck instead of my wife's 2002 Prerunner (boring white and stock) for errands so it adds up. Even so I have 108K on a 2003, not too bad.

    No, not bad at all.

There are 1st gens here in Yuma that are (relatively) pretty low in mileage just because it it doesn't take long to get out of town. Fishing and camping is under 25 miles away and hunting is not much further. From where I am (Foothills) to the other side of town is probably 15-20 miles. So even the heartiest commute isn't bad. The folks that work at YPG have probably the longest.

So, first, she's been participating in relay for life for 10 years. She is right now still battling cancer. Taking those pills that make her hurt for another 4 years. She did get approved to get her port removed yesterday. She hates that thing.
It is good that they found this early on your son this time. Hopefully chemo will be short and not as intense as the last time. How old is he? Does this mean it is stage 4? I hope not, but they told my wife if it comes back it will be stage 4 and if that happens then all they can do is treat it and it will probably continue to re appear. Is this the case with your son? I hope not. You probably already know this, but Chocolate ice cream, noodle dishes like mac and cheese and fettacini alfredo, Gatorade G2. My wife wound up liking the grape the best. Hard to get, it was always out. She would drink the blue G2 if she couldn't get the grape. She still drinks it.
Good luck and keep me posted.

Right now the weather liar is trying to tell me that this storm that is getting ready to blow through is not normal for this time of year.

We have a big storm blow through every year right around this time. OXW is next weekend and one of the reasons they moved it from Mormon lake to Flag is because they got cold and rain and snow and it was a miserable mess. :frusty:
And Memorial day? I started this thing where I went to Big Lake for Memorial weekend, and it was always freezing and last time I went a couple years back it snowed.
    So, I don't know what she's talking about.:notsure:
