I bought an Inferno color topper for my Super White '17 Taco. At first I was going to paint it, but it's grown on me. I like it.

Since I want to go with a white/orange theme, I'm looking to get some vinyl to cut on my silhouette vinyl cutter to do the usual tailgate TACOMA logo in orange and some graphics.

Does anyone know what color works? I usually use oracal, and they have a BUNCH of colors here: http://www.orafol.com/gp/americas/e...t-details-10187/items/oracal-951-premium-cast -- 333 looks close, but I want to get it right the first time.

Oracal 033 is the closest match.

Also you can use a mid tier off-brand vinyl, let me look up what I used real quick.

It looks WAY off on the website but it turns out it is pretty close to Inferno. I used it plenty for non-inferno jobs and one day realized hey wait, this is really damn close to Inferno!

It's an "off brand" that I've never gotten any complaints from. My guess is if you could ever tell a difference, it would only be after 4-6 years or harsh abuse...

I linked the bulk size but I'm sure you're bright enough to find the silhouette-sized cuts.;)

The white/orange theme will look good.

Oracal Red Orange 033 is what I use. You can buy it by the foot from uscutter.

The stuff Nitori recommended is close, but won't match perfectly. It should be ok if there's a fair gap between the two, but I'm going to try some Oracal 033 and see if that's closer.

For example, if you're putting orange decals inside to match the outside color, it's going to look nice. But, for a orange topper on a white truck where the vinyl and topper are both against the white, the difference is huge.

If my dealer ever gets an allocation, I'm getting an Inferno ORDCSB MT and I will be changing the bedside decals, is there a color that would be close to the inferno (preferably a little darker) so that it is kind of stealth?

The vinyl Nitori linked is very close, but would be just a hint more red. It's cheaper than the Oracal too.

033 is very, very close to Inferno. If anything it might be slightly lighter. Check the Oracal 751 color chart to compare the colors that are similar to 033 to find a shade that give you the look you want.

I do what I can to educate people about vinyl to make sure they choose the right products for their vehicle. For long term applications I would only consider cast vinyl over the cheaper calendered vinyl. For anyone interested in learning the difference between them check out the explanation here:
