i have been driving a 2010 DCSB OR for 5-6 years and decided it was time to get something newer.
im picking up a 2017 DCSB OR with the premium jbl package in a few days, i love all of the upgraded creature comforts, my 2010 was pretty basic.
one question tho, has the size of the bed changed at all between the 2? i have a rightline bed tent that im hoping will fit the same in the new truck.

I went from an '05 to my '17 and while I haven't measured, the bed looks exactly the same to me. You will really love the new truck. Congrats.

Love mine, great maneuverability around town. Very smooth on the highway and the cab is extremely quiet. Enjoy your new purchase

Congrats...enjoy the new buggy. I believe the bed sizes are the same, one gent was asking if the 2nd gen bedmat fits 3rd gen box and the answer was in the affirmative...others will chime in

The bed is bigger/better on the 3rd Gen, about 2" or so deeper so you can carry more stuff with a cover or at least that's what I read somewhere.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Hey OP... take off the front bed rail on your old one...... The new ones do not have them from the factory...you have to buy one if you want it. 2Gen rail will fit.

    Thanks everyone.
I bought a black one. Always wanted a black truck.
As for the bed rail I always had my roll up tonneau cover covering that rail so I never used it. Just put the cleats towards the front of the side rails.
