Entune plus question

Hi,
New guy here with a question. Looking to pick up a new Tacoma. Not sure if SR5, Sport or Off road. question about the SR5 entune plus and navigation. i know it uses the scout app. Question is, can i use my phone's google maps instead with entune plus? will it display on the screen ?
Sorry if this has been covered before. I couldnt find the answer.

I think, which means I may be wrong, that the only way to get that is to get an iPhone mirroring device. They sell them on Amazon and it allows your entune to mirror what's on you're phone screen.

I just have the base entune . I'm going to a apple play system.

Very easy if you know how to cut and solder wires, DIY cost ~ $70. Just use your head unit as a display (smartphone Mirroring). Anything you see/hear on your smartphone will mirroring to head unit.

 

I think the Tacoma nav works just as good or better than my phones nav...

 

plus im a big fan of having turn by turn in the gauge cluster.
