I really like my led light. Great for the back roads. The only thing I would like to do just not sure about doing it. I like to cut out the little grids in front of the light to make it easier to clean because of the bugs and dirt. I think if you take your time I think it would look ok. I have not seen anyone do this. Guys usually go with the flush mount.

Aired down my tires finally. It was way below freezing when I aired them up a few months ago now it's in the 90s where I have it. Pressure wandered up to 45 when I put the gauge on. The stock Dunflops are crap anyway but man I didn't have traction whatsoever.

And then ran it trough the wash and vacuumed the leaves out of the cowl.

    New cabin filter tomorrow.

Far away I think it'd look fine, but up close you'd notice it. I speak from experience as I had to trim my lower valence for a flush mount light. When you cut the innards out, you can tell where the legs used to be and there's nothing you can do about it, no matter how slow you go. If you're one that doesn't mind small things like that, then no biggie, but I know some people that would bug.

Thanks dude for the info. This is why I'm hesitant on doing it. I think it will bother me. You can say I'm one of them. Lol.

No worries man. Any reason why you don't want to go with the flush mount?

If you can't tell what I did today, well that means it's done right....

    20170506_151752.jpg

Body matched my chrome grille, much better! Also did the emblem in a charcoal-ish gray color. If you can't tell I don't like chrome.

Hmmmm, I'm guessing something with the grill. Is it the insert? Or possibly your headlights as they have a slight tint to them.

EDIT: Nevermind, you painted your grill surround. Full disclosure, I cheated. I found this post in another thread.
