Had a great time in Anza Borrego this weekend. Great camping, great eating, and great wheeling.

    Coming up:

My buddy is building me a Hi Lift Mount for my spare tire so it will sit behind my trasharoo. I just want it out of the back.

King Coilovers should be here soon.

I'm pretty happy with how the rear bumper accessories came along thanks to @GHOST SHIP's help. All I need now is to figure out where to mount the 2 gallon rotopax. @GHOST SHIP gave an idea of using this mount for jeeps. I think it could be a good option. Any input would be a solid help.

Do you have more pics or info on this. I like that idea of a hidden tank there possibly

Try mounting the rotopax on the spare behind your trasharoo.

Thanks man. I'll get some more: sorry I just saw this
I thought if that but my friend is making me a hi lift mount for that location. I saw a mount for a ratchet strap that goes around the tire with a rotopax mount on the side. That could work.

@tacomgee here are some pics of the idea.

@GHOST SHIP showed me these tube light mounts on Amazon and I installed 4 of them.

Then he made an aluminum plate to mount the rotopax mount to and it was bolted in all 4 corners

This would have been the desired location for the rotopax. Pretty bummed it didn't work. I think it might be worth welding in tabs to mount it to, but I'm not sure. I need to think before doing something permanent like that to my bumper.

In other news I'm still waiting on my kings from the group buy. Unfortunately won't have them for overland expo. I also will be getting a full length roof rack soon enough.

Welding a small tab shouldn't be too intrusive of a modification to the swing out. We can take a bunch of measurements before doing anything just to be sure it'll solve your mounting issue.

Another successful Overland Expo. Ready for next year.

Left on Friday morning and hit our favorite spot in Havasu.

Stayed the night and headed to Flagstaff in the morning of Saturday. Don't have good pics of it, but we had a good time.

Moved on to camp that night with some of the AZ locals and got to use my full camp kitchen for once.

Worked great with the propane set up on the bumper.

Next day @TRON_ showed us the ropes at Broken Arrow in Sedona.

    Overall great trip.

Are you glad you got to do broken arrow? I love that trail, still haven't done it with this truck though.

Yeah it was awesome. My girlfriend loved it so that was a plus. Also met a bunch of 4runner guys and a couple tacoma guys on here. Still trying to find their usernames though.

haha honestly never do really technical trails at all. We ride dirt roads to camp sites. Broken Arrow really made me learn how top heavy I am with the tent.

I wonder if you got a hard shell tent if it would lower your center of gravity a little bit
