Yeah man, that looks great! I saw the scooped hood so I thought it was a sport and the grill would be matched, but then the mirrors aren't color matched, so I was all sorts of confused.

Now that is all done I don't want to change it all around. I would rather just trim the little grids out. I have to think about it some more. That is the reason I went with the Stealth mount in the first place. Amazing how we are always changing our minds.

Aha I hear you there. If you do trim it out, be patient. I'd recommend heating it up with a heat gun on low and hitting it with a razor blade. It's easy to scratch the surrounding plastic.

Thanks man, I like how it turned out!

Its actually a TXPro, I think they came with chrome grilles and rear bumpers, but black mirrors and door/tailgate handles, not 100% sure.

Hey guys quick FYI, Pepboys is currently running an amazing sale on everything "hi-lift" with 35% off. Looks like it's running through the end of May. There's a discount code to use that pops up when you are on their site.

I'm grabbing mine, with a few accessories, this week. :woot:

So, the "chrome" isn't true chrome plating, its just vacuum formed onto the abs plastic grille, so its a little softer than true chrome plating would be. What I did on this one and have done with pretty good success on others, is just use 400 grit sandpaper, and prep the hell out of the chrome parts. 95% of paint work is prep. Make sure everything is dull and scuffed, no bright spots anywhere. Clean with a mild detergent and allow to dry COMPLETELY. Spray your color. And I usually try to heat parts for a smooth finish and a quick cure.

Lol neither did I until I did a google search for "hi-lift" yesterday and saw that their prices were lower than even Amazon with that discount.

It took me and my dad about 7 hours to do. Unfortunately no beers were consumed while installing the lift.
