    Washed it.
A couple days ago, I found a downside to the ProEFX mirrors. Had a bug hit the mirror and got the splatter redirected through the open window and straight to my face.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg F..I..N..A..L..L..Y got my Bedslide cut down, rewelded and installed! It was originally in a Chevy Silverado with 6.5' bed. Took me 48 hrs and ALOT of measuring and re-measuring then cut-off wheel and the 'ol Hobart Handler 140 got the job done. Works great, however I lost my 4 "lock-out" points. But all I wanted was the last, most extended lock out anyway. Made my own "keeper" system for the last lock out. I'm pleased, considering I only paid $400 for it. Got it done just in time for our Southern Utah and Grand Canyon trek in a couple weeks. Threw up the Tepui Kukenam Sky Ruggedized tonight for a pre-trip check and gonna sleep in it tonight with the wife in our little backyard oasis right in the middle of Big D.

Not a big fan of the billet look. Take a look at grillcraft mx series.

Installed new TRD Performance Brake Pads, guide rods, cotter pins, and turned rotors. Old pads lasted 60,000+ miles over 10+ years. Guide rods were a little rusted, and outboard pads really wore quicker than inboard. Chose TRD as they were aramid/ceramic mix, relatively good local price. People complain of the involved brake bedding procedure, but that's SOP to me. Almost exactly same procedure as the BMWs.

    Stock, for now.
It's my only ride. I surf way more than I skate and I never really progressed to even doing Arials even though I've been skating since the Dogtown days. Kick turns and tails slides are more my speed. I use it now mostly for short transport from parking lot to time clock.
Haha. After you mentioning the rust, I did the cheap ass thing and hit the bearings with a shot of WD-40 before I headed back to my truck from work.
I have to say that it just super cool to be able to throw stuff in the back of a truck again! Prior to picking this coma up I had(have. Still trying to sell it) a 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 and prior to that a '78 VW Bus.IMG_0448.jpg IMG_0526.PNG.jpg

Yeah, that's just because of the way it installs. I just looked at the install instructions for both customcargrills and grillcraft, and grillcraft's looks way easier. Only reason someone should go for customcargrills is because it's considerably cheaper.

EDIT: With that being said, I'd do CCG all over again. It's worth it to me to save that much money for a little more work.
