    We did squirt a little silicone in the threaded hole after the riv-nuts were installed and spread it around where the spacer would sit. Had no leaks and no problems. Funny enough, we did drop the headliner on the truck a few months after to sound deaden and insulate the roof and found a worm of silicone stuck to the end of each exposed bolt from underneath. I guess it didn't really need it, but in the end didn't hurt anything either.

    Im done with the install. Having leak issues.

    What i did (or didn't do) was put the 2nd rivnut on the rear pair of bolts. The one that is closer to the middle bolts. If that makes sense. One side I drilled, while pulling down the side airbags. Then when I put the rivnut in, the airbag was in the way. So i had a hole with a rivnut installed. I just went crazy with silicone to try to stop the water from entering.

    I have a leak, but its not from that side. Its from the other side. But I just bought some more silicone to put in the rivnuts and on the threads of the bolts. Hopefully that will stop any more leaks. I dont want to drop the headliner, but its not a huge hassle.

    @DaveEli i can help you since ive done it first. I have been needing to get away

    Looks good. Good idea about leaving the next to last rivnut out. I'll drill the last hole before the next to last. Make sure that hole is past the airbags.
    Did you get the rack with the longer side rails?

    I got new siderails that were 1.5" longer. Should put my rear 2 rivnuts past the airbags.

    Did you install the "NOISE REDUCING EDGE TRIM", didn't see it in the pictures.
    How far from the edge of the windshield to the front of the siderail? How did you decide where to mount the rack?

    I didn't put the edge trim on. Ive got a snorkel, RTT and other things on the truck that have wind noise, so its not a big worry to me.

    I copied ghostship, and marked 7 1/8" from the windshield for my first hole. After that, i had someone hold the side rails, while i center punched the rest of the holes.
