Something I've pondered quite a bit actually. my last vehicle I plastidipped the wheels and I think it looked good, it was just hard to maintain as everytime I used tire jizz it seemed to get under the plastidip and the lip would peel up. Like you said, I may just do it to get by for a while though! :)

Just installed the Fab Fours rear bumper. Fairly easy job. I found when removing the stock bumper to undo the electrical first, then pop off the top plastic cover. Then the metal center section unbolts. The side pieces are just held in with two bolts. The new bumper is straight forward. I used a floor jack to lift it in place. My 10 year old son helped get all the bolts in place. I bought this at one of the 4 Wheel Parts Truck Fest shows. It was about 20% off plus free shipping to the nearest store. $695 out the door. A lot more protection than the stock bumper.IMAG4099.jpg IMAG4100.jpg IMAG4101.jpg IMAG4102.jpg IMAG4104.jpg

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Yep, you would have to be careful around the tire edge by hand to stop that from happening but it's just a temp fix. I was lucky. My truck came new with those and the pro's....

Couple of things in the last 24 hours. Finally ordered my KO2's to replace my KO's. Ordered the 265/70/17 C rated for $825 total from 4wheelparts. Been trying everywhere to beat that price but that is the best I could find. Finally installed my front door Kicker speakers that sound awesome compared to the stock mini magnet speakers. Also wondered what was all over the side of my truck. Mud splatter from changing to the All Terrains. First time driven on a rainy day. Looks like mud flaps will go on with the KO2's next week. And I sold my Mamba wheels and street tires. Pretty productive 24.

Yeah, I think it looks better like that too. I've been thinking about doing mine (maybe in grey). Did you remover the tire or just tape it up ??

Those are not mine. I was just showing how they looked. I have pro's on mine. I would think it was just taped off as most tire machines would marr it up putting the tires back on.

Installed a K&N Blackhawk intake. Still deciding how I like it. Haven't noticed any huge performance gains, but I was looking for a millage increase. Only had it installed for one day so far. Definitely has some noise at the upper RPM range. I recorded a short clip to try too capture the sound. But it didn't really relay the more throaty sound, but I'll share anyway.
