Good morning kids, got cold last night 37*. Brought the plants inside again, wife got them to early. Up here it is not safe to plant before Mothers Day, then it is still sketchy. Detailed the truck yesterday, I think I got all the salt out of it. Going to try and relax today, I will see how that goes, so much to do, so little time. Have a better than average day kids.

Morning all. Came back from the Cape yesterday afternoon. Mom was nagging me and my 10 year older sister about having to "wear a hat when you go out" or "put some slippers on" a bit too much for us. Very happy to have her around but we're not little kids anymore... Anyway, today is relaxation day...

I don't recall if I posted this. But here's lunch before we left yesterday (fish & chips). I'm paying dearly today for all of this fried food over the past two days!

With all the heavy rain the past two weeks my outdoor projects have been on
Hold. I did however get a smart idea, one of my very few, and disassembled what I could of the glider and stuffed it in the garage. I finished the second coat on the table and chair seat parts this morning.
Since I will have to pull apart the rest of the swing to get the base I've decided to wait on that and paint the glider portions as I can. At the end of the year I'll pull it apart and flip the base over and do everything I can't get to. I hate painting so a little at a time will make it tolerable.
Can't work on the drive as rain off and on the next week. I need a 24 hour window to put down repair goop.
Wind is blowing pretty good right now for early morning. Clouds are really screaming accross the sky.

I would like a day or two of fishing in nice weather before the influx of the undesirable assholes coming in for the summer.
I have reached my limit as I now have 7 rods on my deck.

I may watch the race this afternoon. May go for a walk. May sit on my ass all day.
My long week this week so will not have much to be able to get accomplish.

Alot on my plate this month.
    Trying to weather the storm.

    It's always something.

Absolutely! Both of my parents are still here. Dad had to have a very serious surgery this past winter - two valves and an aortic aneurysm repair. He let it go too long and the doctors didn't expect him to make it through the surgery but here he is alive and kicking. Certainly brings a bit of reality back into ones life.

Good morning. Ugh. Tree guy had 3 chainsaws yesterday and he let me help myself to one and I helped cut and trim on the other side of the ravine. We had fun trying to stay up with each other. Except now my sciatic nerve is screaming at me what a dumb ass.

Your such a pimp, :p I had a chance to buy a truck new with those on, and almost did based on looks alone. Love the heated seat covers I have but those leather ones take it up more than a few notches. And living here I get to use them half the year. Yeah I can understand going for those.

Couple of weeks ago Home Depot had a 50% sale on miniature flowers and I couldn't help myself. Too early here also and I don't bring the flowers in but should they have been below freezing more than once. Going to have to buy some more for the other planter boxes and replace these but have one with color for now.

    Flower Box.jpg

And yes I put the hummingbird feeder up yesterday when I saw a rose breasted grosbeak. You just never know.

Great job dad! And I have seen parachute riggers make some amazing stuff over the years, always a bit jealous of what they can make.

Should be more wildflowers in bloom today and might make a road trip when I can move again. And no I am not light in the loafers, far from it, but I do like what mother nature can make and appreciate the colors. Hate the black and white crap she makes in the winter though.

I think today is Free Kevin day, at least hope so! @Kolunatic hope your out of jail soon, and that all is well with you. Looking forward to having you back "home".

Seen a Hummingbird heading for the Lilacs the other day. That seems real early this year.
