Well, back when I was living in my truck last year @ Jax Beach, this happened.

I was at the beach with my girlfriend and a few friends. Me and the girlfriend and another guy where chilling around my truck just talking and hanging out. Homeless guy comes up to us and starts asking for money and I tell him we're both homeless and we start talking. The whole group starts talking about politics somehow and the girlfriend reveals she's from Washington DC, to which he makes a cross with his fingers and backs away as if she's a vampire.

Somehow during this he starts talking about how someone stole his bike and that he's mad and when he finds them he's gonna pull his knife out... Well, he pulls his knife out and goes to flick it open and it flies straight for my feet, using my Ninja reflexes I avoid the knife and he leaves to go lecture a guy who's making his dog ride in the TRUNK of his car.

Jax beach has a lot of crazies. I've had a cracked out old lady follow me around threatening me because I was wearing dog tags and then trying to mess with my dog (who was not having that shit).

As far as weapons go, I carry on my person at all times a buck knife. I have a hatchet under my passenger seat (it's actually the girlfriends, I'm not allowed to use it :( ), as well as various tools in my back seat.

Used to carry a baseball bat under my back seat, then I got smart and realized I'd probably go to jail if I got pulled over, searched, and that was on me (especially looking the way I do)...

Being 6"3, driving a truck with NRA stuff on the back and having a mohawk pretty much ends all road rage before it starts.

Somewhat... If you're carrying a baseball bat and don't have any other baseball stuff, cops will know exactly why you have it. Doesn't exactly look good.

I have a blue mohawk, gauged ears, and more often than not look like a "freak", so I don't take my chances when it comes to anything legal.

Well, like a few have said but not in these words. If this was a perfect world, we wouldn't need guns. But guess what everyone. It isn't, and unfortunately there is always someone wanting what you have or they just may be plain mean. In any case I will do anything in my power to protect myself and especially my family.

You don't need guns in canada because the gangbangers haven't moved there yet. But, they will and all of you will be changing your tune or march to their drum. We live free down here and if that changes then they can just bury me.

Besides, it's too cold up there for the guns to work anyway. lol

I've heard if you keep a bat, with a ball and a glove next to it, you'd be okay.

Just go buy a cheap mitt. :)
