I looked at a couple houses where the garage doors were 71" and shorter. I believe my truck is 73" at the highest point

Back in the day(post-war till maybe early to mid 80's), there was usually 1 car, and that's passenger car, per family/household.
Trucks, vans, and SUV's (unknown term till the late 80's) were used by tradesmen, outdoor types and farmers/ranchers.(for the most part)

The ac drip line drips right on our frames from the factory. Search ac drip line on here and it'll give you information on the coupler, hoses and clamps to get. I rerouted mine down the passengerside behind the splash guard and about 2 inches lower than the frame.

Yeah it's nice we built the garage so it could work on equipment for the family busines so our doors are 9.5' and 10ft ceilings it's pretty clutch for everything except I can't fit a full lift

Wow! I'm pretty sure my door is 7 ft. I'll have to measure it now. I'm curious.

Installed my aftermarket splash guards yesterday. What a bitch those were. I forgot to buy fender washers so I'll have to fix that when I get back.

Forgot to add I installed the roblockz mud flaps. Normal length and external mount on the front. Made a big difference in the rain yesterday.

Edit - ordering some mavcoat steel shield this week hopefully to protect the suspension from the weather etc.

Thanks Jason, gonna look this up. Sounds easy enough to do. It never dawned on me that it was dripping right on the frame.

It's super easy just a horrible angle to work at from the engine bay. But a trick is pull off the passengerside rear splash guard and its literally right there. While you're down there spray some black rust converter on the frame in that spot for the sake of it. Yes it's dirty and stuff down there but anything helps and it's not like anyone will see it.

    Front door is 84x192

    Back door is 79x96

It seems I could even get my truck out into the back yard if I wanted to!

That's surprising. You've got more lift than I had, but I had the roof lights and I had zero issue getting into my garage with the lights on. My garage was built in 1975 and is deeper than standard, but not a particularly overbuilt unit.

My house was built in the 50's and the garage door clearance is I believe 77". But I've looked at homes with these half assed ghetto garages that have been put up and they're like 70" tall

That's wild. I've got at least 80" depending on where I set my garage door opener stop stops.

Unrelated side note. Anyone need a set of 4-leaf TSB overloads? I have a set leftover. Come get em.

Mine was 1957, but I don't think the garage is original.
