I think that's a good plan! I'd recommend a dremel too. They're inexpensive, come in handy in more ways then you'd think, and will help with this mod.

So I stop by my parents place the other day and wouldn't ya know my parents bought a new truck. I've wanted a Tundra ever since we settled on a Tacoma because of price. They picked up a 2016 Tundra with the SR5 package with the TRD sport package included. I was quite surprised to see that their truck, being the entry level Tundra has every option my fully loaded Tacoma does and more. The only differences in interior are I have leather and they have dark cloth. They have a sport mode on the transmissions with select gear shift, tow haul mode and even a trailer brake controller built in. They even have proximity sensors on the bumpers and it came with a 2" lift! Not overly impressed with the lack of options Tacomas get even at the high end of the packages. IMG_1278.jpg Looking back I wish I had just bit the bullet on the extra 10 grand and bought a Tundra. Still love my Tacoma but after driving theirs I'm hooked!

I'm assuming it's not going to snow for the next few months here in NH :fingerscrossed:so I swapped out my snow tires for summer tires. Damn, it was a long winter :(.

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver a bed rack this Friday so I can take my bride of 36 years canoeing (no, not canoodling ) once again.

A good cost effective option for your rear bumper is to invest in a set of bumpshellz from Ecological. They offer a set in white. I purchased a set in their brushed metal (silver), to hide the chrome on mine.

Doesn't even have a license plate yet!
I really like that Alpha Moto SS! Sorry if I might have missed it, but where and how did you mount that other antenna that looks like it's on the front end of the cap by the rear pass door? Just passed papers on my Taco yesterday and looking forward to picking it up this week, so radios are priority 1 this month! 73, and nice rig!
