I should have some answers tomorrow after the shop gives it the stink eye. I will keep you posted. I almost think the drive line is out of balance.

Well another trip to the tire shop as I was still getting a little wobble on the steering wheel at 60+ mph. This time the guy checked the whole front end, ball joints, tie rods everything and everything is the way it should be. So he pulled the front tires again and checked them and found 1 tire that had a small high spot on it and turned the tire and rebalanced them and now it runs the way it should. On another note my cruise control was not working and saw some where on here where there is a switch on the clutch when you disengage the clutch the CC kicks off and could be out of adjustment. Crawled under the dash and that is what was going on with my lil fart Toyota. Adjusted it so it was where it was supposed to be and shizam I now have cruise control. Only one other issue is to fix the horn. The relay clicks when you hit the horn button but no beeb. My guess the horn is shot or an insufficient ground.

This is a stock 95 extended cab 4x4, 5 speed, 22RE motor with 186000 on the odo. Doesn't burn oil and still has a little poop left in the ol engine. I like this little truck.

Sounds like you have a fix but I still would not neglect the u-joints going forward...

I have had the u joints and all connections checked when it was in the shop, all is well.

HA hadnt thought about wasps building a nest in the horn but for sure a possibility, hopefully this week i can tear it off and see what is happening. Just got to figure out how to get the grill off but I think i got it figured out.
