I also found a used set locally on this forum. I'm just leery of buying used tires. supposedly only 5K on them, look new to me $500?

you will rub a tiny bit if turned and going over bumps but its fine. Remove the tiny weird mudflaps in front of the wheels. I still have aftermarket mudflaps and rub a bit but nothing bad.

I have 20k on them and love them. No issues with balance or wear just like the old BFG. I dunno why they have so many haters on here

I have em and I think they're great. Had them on the truck for almost two years. While at a buddies house yesterday he asked if I ever drove the truck cuz my tires still looked new. I laughed and said yup I drive it daily. I honestly like the sidewall design. Tread could be different IMO though. When these ware out I'd like some mud tires

the siping and wet traction is much improved compared to the old KO, according to my buddy in Colorado, great in the snow as well.

I've had these about a week and I really like them.. Such a better tire than the KM2's for all around driving.

When I was getting my aftermarket wheel to match my other Wheels put on my spare tire at discount tire there was a guy there with a newer Jeep Wrangler taking off his 5 brand-new 1 month old KM2's and purchasing KO2's. Lol! He said the road noise was horrible. Probably wouldn't be as bad in my truck he said since his was a soft top jeep. Coulda picked up all (5) 285/75/16 for $700 from him!!! But unfortunately I didn't have the funds at a time.

KM2 are pretty notorious for road noise. Apparently a good mud tire (no experience with mud myself of any form) and I know a few people ran them as general off road tire too. But poor tread life, mileage and noise compared to KO or KO2 from what I've read.

Interesting. I thought the BFGs all had good tread life. I have no knowledge of mud tires yet but I do know my KO2s seem to have great tread life.

"Poor" might be the wrong word. Just less than the KO. And take that with a big grain of salt. Reading experiences on forums is subject to wide variation because of so many different drive styles and conditions and tire sizes.

Well I had the dealer install the K02's on Friday morning right before our road trip over the Cascades. My impressions so far are very positive. First of all they look amazing. Aggressive but not overpowering or "bro-ish". Check out some photos below. In terms of driving I was immediately able to tell a difference versus the worn out stock Dunlops both in how smooth the ride felt as well as the difference in handling. Turning is slightly more numb and there is a small but noticeable drop in power accelerating up hills due to the extra weight on each tire. But driving over bumps or rough road feels far better in the K02's, and cruising mountain roads and interstate both felt natural and responsive. I tried to do a full tilt steering both forwards and backwards and didn't feel any rubbing but I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to feel like to be honest. It's too soon to notice a difference in gas mileage but I expect it to be one or two MPG's less versus stock.

Right after getting home from the dealer:

On our way we stopped a few times to grab some photos and take in the sights:

This was a relaxation weekend so the truck stayed parked most of the time...

On the way home we stopped to have a bit of fun in the snow and got some rad photos:

And how the tires looked on our way home, ~200 miles on them:

So far I am impressed. I wanted a great looking tire with good performance on and off road with stock SR5 suspension and it looks like I found it. So glad I am able to start putting more money into the Taco after five and a half years of paying it off. Next mod is to rip off the stock mudflaps and replace them with RokBloks. Then a plate rear pumper and bed rack.

Went to a local tire shop today and EVERYONE in the shop advised me to go against the KO2s. They had nothing good to say about BF Goodrich. They said they constantly have people coming in and returning them or trading them in because of vibrations.

Had my heart set on them to be honest and still kind of do. Is this a normal issue for these tires? Looking at going 285/75/16.

They seem pretty much the same to me as every other BFG i have had for the past 15 years. They are a little louder than the KO but that's it.

So far I love how quiet they are and they handle quite well, but then again I just came from an MT. 5 miles under the belt.

    Soooo put on the 285s

I'm rubbing the UCAs (Total Chaos) at full lock. OME suspension (Dakars & 885s).

The stock TRD OR wheel specs are: 16x7, +32 mm offset, 5.25" backspacing, 6x5.5" bolt pattern.

In order NOT to rub at full lock I need a wheel with less offset, right?

I searched and people either got different wheels, had a shop try and mess with the alignment to fix the issue, or go spacers like these... Pics of my rubbing for your guys' info!

Thanks to those who offer advice!!!

Not huge on spacers when you could get a new set of wheels for $400 (give or take) as opposed to $200 wheel spacers...

Spacers are a quick diy solution and you can resell them on here for 75% of what you paid. I've not seen a set of 1.25s stick around long on the for sale section here.

I had no issues running that size while stock. Each truck is a little different.
