My apology if this question had been asked.. I've searched and couldn't come up with any info.

I had a AAL added in and wanted a inch more in the back. I ordered low range 1 inch block and after installation I gained 2 1/4 inch of lift in the rear which now sits too high. I thought one inch block equals to one inch lift?

That's easy, just get new adjustable coilovers and level it out :). Also blocks won't treat you well off-road, you'll be picking them up from behind the truck lol

I think with one inch block, it should be fine right?

Your 1 inch block In the rear should have only given you 1 inch. It sounded like you already had the aal in right? Sometimes the aal will give you more height before settling

    I know a 1" spacer up front nets 2".

Perhaps that's true for the rear as well?

1" block should equal 1" of lift... If the block gave you 2 1/4" I gotta think it's installed incorrectly. Unless you gained 2 1/4" with the block AND AAL.

I had the AAL for about a month and it sits about 1/2 inch lower than the front (5100 with ome 888). Figure 1 inch more will be good but after installing the one inch block it sits 2 1/4 higher than the front which made the truck slanted forward. I know the block is a one inch block because I went to auto zone to compared their once inch block on the shelf.

I wouldn't worry about throwing a block, especially a 1"er. Hell, some trucks in the 90's came with 6" factory blocks. Axle wrap is the issue I'd be worried about with the taller blocks and the soft factory springs.

    OP 1" should be 1"

That's not how it works in the rear.

No! A 1" block will lift your truck exactly that.

You should know it's a 1" block because if you measure it, it's 1". Post up a pic of how it's installed it'll give us an idea of what's going on.

How the heck does OP net 2 1/4" of lift with a 1" block then? lol

Unfortunately that only works for the front. It doubles because of where the fulcrum is for the LCA itself and where the shock mounts which is about half way on the LCA. From what I've read, OP is getting that extra 1/4in because that is the thickness of the AAL itself. I've never been fond of anyone using AAL's and spacers at the same time, I feel like that puts stress on areas that shouldn't have stress.
I'm guessing he has an AAL and a block, the extra 1/4in comes from the actual thickness of the AAL, but maybe I'm wrong.

My guess is it's installed wrong. I can assure you 100% a 1" block gives you 1" of lift when properly installed.

Pix don't look high in the rear because the way the parking is. Trust me, the rear sits 2 1/4 higher than the front. Before was just AAL and it sits 1/2 lower from the front.
