After 6 months of owning these wheels, they are finally on!

Am I the only one that can't get these wheels to balance for the life of me? My tires are brand new Cooper ST Maxx and I've had new ST Maxx before but with Methods and I had no issues. Been to two tire shops now and they ride rough as hell. Wobbly on the driver side especially. Tried rotating them already and it persists. Pretty freakin annoying. Gonna try getting them road force balanced next...

Well unless its the exact same tire you can't be sure. Same name on the sidewall means squat. Have them rotate the tire 180* on the rim. Or if the tire tech is SUPER cool have him balance it without the tire to see what just the wheel looks like.

How many are out of balance? Did you try switching them around front to rear to see which ones were the worst? A lot of guys run these with oversized tires w/o issue. I have a set with 285/70r17's balanced no problem

Good idea, didn't even think about balancing just the wheel to see.

Heavy wobble on the front and rear driver side.

Throw the front driver on the rear passenger and see if the wobble diminishes - I agree with the suggestions by dumontrider, but you can do that in no time and narrow it down to which tires are the worst and / or out of balance.

Hey what kind of lug nuts are you using?

Yeah it feels like it's just two in particular that are the culprits. I'll have them road force balanced this week then get back on here. And I'm using these in matte black except they're sold out of the matte black ones now.

Cool that shouldn't be the problem as long as they're being tightened in a criss cross pattern.

I mean it's only been 1 business day, Friday. I'm sure he's waiting for PayPal or his credit merchant to let him know about any bounced payments or errors before he ships the product out. Wax on, wax off.

If you read the whole post the person was local and went and picked his wheels up in person, no FedX or UPS shipping to deal with.

For those of you who missed give Micheal's Toyota in Bellevue WA a call. That is where I picked up a set of Ray 10's from. They had a few sets in different colors.
