Ahh.
Something bad in the air. Had to sinus flush again eyes itchy. Can't take a benadryl with long drive.

 

Welcome back.

 

Around the corner from my mom's is a herd of black buck antelope. Free ranging. Awesome sight. Saw them twice now in same area.
I'm going to pick up a feeder to put up there. Found a decent one.

 

Wife had to stop for turkey crossing road not far from here as the crow flies. Had 6 little ones following. Same place she took video of turkey sex in road. I guess it took.

 

Couple days, I pulled into my spot an hour before daylight and 3 vehicles were already there.
Had to scramble for spots # 2 and 3,lol.

 

I've been trying to trap coon at moms that has been living in attic at least over winter. Only trapped 2 cats once each. Let them both go of course.



She's been getting runaround from insurance . I gave her main number Friday and now ball is rolling.

 

That sucks.

 

Haven't seen either cat for a week now. I guess the coon moved on.

 

Yup.
All of a sudden, Spring Turkey got "popular". Even 10 years ago, you never saw that many out for them.
Bird numbers are down and more people out.
I now tie an orange rag over my sitting spots. Too many try walk and stalk. Not a bright idea on a 500 acre shared parcel.

 

Same night i caught my coon, I caught a ferel cat that's been harassing tweety birds for a couple years. They got relocated too.

 

I called closest neighbor the day I saw damage. They happen to be having a coon problem also .
After I covered hole I hadn't seen for long time next day I found this.....

 

There's no way I'd stalk with strangers hunting in same area.

 

Doesn't help that wood is rotten.1/2" thick plywood siding. Going to redo with Hardie board.
