I resealed all the riv nuts again with the outdoor door silicone. But i was talking to a neighbor and he said maybe the water is getting in through the threads on the bolts. So tomorrow i will be taking each one out, putting silicone in the rivnut and on the bolt, and then reinstalling it.

You had to drill holes into your roof right? Any chance you can get more rivnuts? The reason I am asking is because if you can get an o-ring and position it underneath the rivet but but it and the roof and then clamp the river nut down, it should in theory form a water tight seal. You can also use rubber washers from sinks as well. I've done it with motorcycle gear.

Then take the silicon and make sure it is squirted down into the thread area with the hershey size glob on the outside. then install. You should be able to smear the excess on the inside of the rood btw the headliner and metal. Use soapy water on your finger and work it into the edges and form it around the rivet.

Should give you a much better seal.

Access Cab problems.. I could get more riv nuts, but thats not the issue. The side airbags are also partially in the way. I will be putting some silicone on the threads and hopefully that will stop the leak. I really don't want to drop the headliner, but its not too hard

@fatfurious2, when I mounted mine, I filled the holes with silicone then a Hershey kiss size on the top of the hole so it would seal the threads + the spacer and haven't had any leaks yet in this beautiful New England weather.

 I was talking to someone else too about it. But you and my other friend have double cabs, that have the factory mounting points for a roof rack. The Access Cabs do not, which is why I needed to drill and use rivnuts. I will be taking each bolt out, filling the rivnut with silicon, covering the bolt with silicon, and putting them back in. Then *hopefully* I will not have any more leaks.

So it didn't go bad, but it didn't go as well as I would have hoped. But the cabrack is on. I'm going to let it sit in the garage until Sunday to dry good.

Anyone know where to get the hardware for the wind deflector? I lots a complete set when I flipped it around to the correct orientation (logo on pass side). I should have just left it alone. Lol. But it would have bothered me to much.

Any one else place an order and then get zero communication out of Prinsu. I'm about ready to call my bank to refund my order.

I ordered the Toprac and it was delivered in about 5 weeks. I PM'd Zach twice and he got back to me within a couple of days each time. Remember, he is a one man show with a full time day job and a family. Prinsu is his side job so you should give him a little slack. The product is awesome and I am very pleased. However, it's your money and you should do whatever you feel best. Just know that if you have patience, it will all work out.

Will do thanks man. I've called, emailed, and messaged on IG and I know he sees my message on ig it shows you, it pisses me off man. I just don't want to give someone my money when they treat their customers like shit. Expecially when i spend this much money.

Yeah I get its a side project, but if his business gets too big to keep up with he needs to shut down or expand and quit his day job. Cant just rack up orders and not communicate with any body when dealing with that much money. I mean he can do what ever he likes but it sucks for the customer.

Well after 4 weeks of delays before shipping and another 2 weeks of being busy I finally got to installing my Prinsu Roof Rack.

That was a freaking bitch to do. I was working on my own so I had to be creative to get the rack up top without a second set of hands.

The rack itself went together very easily and installed without much of a problem.

Here is where the real issues were. I also ordered the Cargo Basket Kit. First the cross member supplied with the kit is the same width as those for the rack. At first this doesn't seem like a problem until one goes to mount the kit and the "Basket" sides interfere with the rack sides. Then as you are tightening the supplied fasteners the carriage bolt decides to spin in the T-Slot as soon as the nylon section of the nut engages. This happened twice on the same crossbar. I spent an hour having to cut the nuts off on get the fasteners out. Now that I have this botched piece of T-Slot I was able to fix the initial problem of the Basket Kit being too wide. I switched the crossbar from the Kit with the botched section from the rack and cut the messed up end off. Now the Basket Kit fits between the sides.

After driving around a bit I haven't noticed any issues with wind noise. I can hear it a bit but my tires louder. Now we'll have to see how it holds up over time.

As I write this post I can't help but notice that your signature is just so hypnotizing.

I ran the wiring between the bed and the cab. Ran it up to the window rubber seal, fed it underneath to hide the wire, and up to the weather stripping on the top of the cab. Once I get my toprac and finish the wiring I can send you some pictures. Kind of confusing to explain.
