    Same here!

In order to allow the positive terminal to reach it's post, I had break out the Dremel. The terminal was about 2 inches away from the post on my NorthStar... other batteries may differ. Follow the positive cable down a bit and you'll see where it leads, and what's holding it back. I also had to clean up my accessory wiring to make room. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. The group 31 definitely takes up a lot more space though, and it's super heavy!

    Bilstein 6112 kit with 5160 in back. Goodyear Duratrac LT265 75 r16's
    Bajadesigns OR RigidIndustries?
Rigid seems to come with complete kits and you save $$.
I'm adding a 30" grill (30” SR-Series Hybrid Combo light bar), and some amber fog lights to replace the factory units.
Should I go with BD or RI or someone else?

well I for one always appreciate your write-ups and have used them several times for reference. Also, in my personal opinion I think you have the best looking truck on here! I know I've said it before, but thanks for your contributions to the community!

Well dang, thanks buddy! I really appreciate that. I've learned a lot from the forum so I just try to help and contribute however I can. Regarding my truck, that's a big statement! Thanks! The mods aren't anything super unique and are all pretty modest especially with some of the beautiful trucks on here with all kinds of custom work, lifts, armor, etc. I'm happy with the truck though and am done with mods ..for now (I've said that after each thing I've done so many times...)

I run BD and couldn't be happier. On previous trucks I ran Rigid, but unfortunately, Rigid kind of fell behind and their lights simply cannot compete with BD. Still a nice product, don't get me wrong, but overall light output, beam patter, construction.. Just not on that BD level.

Rigid seems to have gone to a more production level product, rather than hand assembled as they previously were since they sold a few years ago. All about squeezing every dollar possible out of these lights.

At the end of the day, really just a matter of preference.

I don't have any experience with Ridged, but I'm very happy with my Baja Designs S8 lightbar, Squadrons and S2s. And customer service from Bailey is top notch. I like Baja's looks over Ridged's as well. That's my 2¢.

You're very welcome! Blue was a very close 2nd when I ordered orange. you've done all the mods I've wanted to do. i REALLY REALLY ant your wheel/tire setup (any lift too?), but that's $2k that i just can't seem to justify. I'm sure you shopped around when you did yours, am i off base on the cost estimate?

I didn't think I'd like inferno but it's really, really grown on me. It looks awesome.

Here's a write-up I did on my wheel/tire setup for others who have asked. It was a little less than $1500 plus mount/balance cost. I sold my stock Sport wheels and tires for $1050 I believe so less than $500 for the new whee/tire setup!

I have OEM 17-in 4Runner TRD Pro matte black wheels (part # PTR20-35110-BK) , BFG LT265/70R17 load range C All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires (part # 66255), and OEM chrome lug nuts and OEM wheel locks

I'm on stock Sport suspension, no lift or leveling kit or modifying of any kind. No rubbing or issues at all even at full lock, over bumps, etc.

Tires are only a little larger than stock, largest that fits on stock suspension without any rubbing I believe

Stock TRD Sport wheels and tires
    • Wheels: 17" diameter, 7.5" wide, 30mm offset
    • Tires: P265/65R17 size, 30.6" diameter tire, 10.4" wide, 6.8" sidewall
TRD Pro wheels and KO2 tires
    • Wheels: 17" diameter, 7" wide, 4mm offset
    • Tires: LT265/70R17 size, 31.6" diameter tire, 10.4" wide, 7.3" sidewall
    Overall gain
    • 20mm wheel offset, 1"/3.3% tire diameter, 0.5"/7.4% tire sidewall
I paid $761.88 with no tax and no shipping cost for the KO2 tires from 4WheelParts online shipped and $692.00 plus tax and no shipping for the Pro wheels from my local dealer picked up (pricematched to Toyota of Cool Springs saving $168 by pricematching). I shopped around and this is the best prices I could find. For the wheels, I'd have your local Toyota dealer pricematch Toyota of Cool Springs or Olathe whichever is currently cheaper. For the tires, check 4WP or Sears. Sears may be running a deal but it's hard to beat the 4WP price which includes no tax, no shipping, and a rebate on top of it.

PERFECT! Thank you for this :) - If I could get $1000 for my stock setup that would make this a no brainer. did you sell the stock wheels/tires on here?

Can anyone recommend a good polish, I'm trying to get my truck cleaned up for prom as well. Also, what is the brackets everyone is using for the hidden lightbar? I'm wanting to get one for my occasional woods/ backroads driving.

Thanks! Had it custom made. I think before it's all said and done, I will have double the MSRP just in accessories.
