I have my fair share of Tacoma problems - some I'm working with Toyota to hopefully resolve soon (vibes, chirps, wobbly diff, leafs, steering wheel shakes, power steering issues, etc.,). But I also fall in that love/hate category - the aforementioned issues piss me off to no end, particularly when driving in the city or long road trips.

But, I WANT Toyota to make this right because I DO love the trucks form, capability, and badass looks. It is built for the endless weekend...and I hope it will take me many more places such as those depicted in this video I created of a recent excursion. Little light off roading included, was nice to see that stock height and terrain select work some magic up those rocky hills. Never scraped, spun a wheel, or struggled in any way.... then I got back on the pavement and, well...

Take 10 mins (with audio if you fancy) and enjoy this mostly paddling, but Tacoma-heavy video!

Still so bummed I didn't make it to Rendezvous. Here's to healthy shoulders from here on out. Good shots, good carnage & good edit, as always. SUPER bummed to miss that ride to the Obed put in!
Next time I see you remind me to look at how you have the boat lashed on the side.

Oh yeah - I watched another Taco cross it first just so I knew it would hold. $35,000 truck, $12 bridge!

Sure thing - got the idea from another in our local paddling crew... Truck Covers USA tonneau with welded yakima tracks + landing pads + round bars + Thule Hull-a-Port Pros. that combined with the prinsu and stackers makes for an easy carry of 6+ boats/paddles/while still leaving the bed free for gear storage. So functional! ...just need the damn thing to drive like it did a couple of months ago and I'll keep it forever.
