Yeah, I work in the Tech industry and have for a while now. Hold an AA and some decent certifications, but programming? That's a whole different beast. Plus I'm like the absolute worst when it comes to math, like counting with my fingers bad.....

I feel the same way. I had to do some linux and windows programming back in school, and that was by far my least favorite module. And we had to do some pretty tedious stuff related to packets.

Made room for a Trac bar with an 18" Magnaflow. I do like that at idle you can't tell it has aftermarket exhaust at all, and overall it's not too loud.

Found some old gems while cleaning out the garage yesterday.

From the Cuestonian (Cuesta College paper). Good times with fake names.

One from the Cal Poly paper regarding long lines at the Phantom Menace release.

Also found this. I wanted a Ronald McDonald autograph, but this was the best my grandpa could do.

Lastly, this is how we used to order skateboards in 1987.

    Wrecked!
WE help set it up, We are part of it, I know a lot about it. But they block all the roads around it but expect us to get to and from the buildings with are truck and tools. the traffic cops , not CHP local PD don't want to let us through. Thus making my day suck ass.
I have lots of respect for CHP, But local PD can suck a fat one. One of them last yr treated to give me a ticket for crossing the road when the light was red even though the street was blocked off and used as a parking lot for the CHP memorial . I in no way was referring to the event in the manor that you may think. I work for the state, in and around the capitol as an electrician. This is my work site. And when this starts work pretty much comes to a stand still. But when some office person trips a breaker, because there fat ass needs three microwaves, we have to respond.

My daughter has one of these and we did a little project that flashed some leds in sequence. She dealt with the code, I did the wiring. Pretty cool stuff.

Easy. All I'm saying is that it's one day a year. One. Just call the boss and tell him/her you're stuck in traffic.

There are a bunch of sites you can learn to code using Arduino. Might even be some code examples you can work from.

She went to robotics camp for a week last summer and she and her partner built a self driving model car with motors, steering servo, and optical sensors. It sort of worked. The home kit we got came with this guide; we mostly followed it for our little project. She then immediately lost interest in it. Perhaps if you have something cool on the boil, it could be re-kindled...

    That's awesome Eric.

I was planning on using one of those to automate my auxillary fuel tank on my truck. It's always on the way way back burner though. Maybe if I just buy one I'll start to work on it.

    stuff
Trust me I understand the sentiment. How do you think I feel?!? In no way do I want to sell. But here's the rub - it'd be for the greater good. Business owner, family man, more money, flexible schedule, more time and money to build and wheel some cool ass shit. I have a few other options I'm trying so hopefully this is all theoretical nonsense!

Thanks for answering my question
