It took me like 24 years to distinguish between a ratchet and a socket...I knew the differences, but I always mixed up the terms when talking.

But i think this guy is lying, he wants my 17x9 so it doesnt sling so much on his truck...does 1 inch more wheel and maybe half an inch wider tire make that much of a difference

Is bell mountain still drivable

 

I don't know. I want to take mine over some basic trails in the metro Atlanta area. Willing to drive an hour or so. I'm in Smyrna.

 

Tray Mountain would be a start

 

to my understanding Bell mountain was paved. unfortunately I never got a chance to go up it before the paving.

 

Yeah, Bell is now paved blacktop all the way to the top.

 

Yup Bell is paved, but if you're in the area it's worth the view

 

The broker for the house just bought was challenging me my truck couldn't make it up the mountain but his Jeep could-- I could have sworn I had heard they closed the mountain, so this all makes sense now.

Tray is more of a dirt road IMO, but what's the next trail to drive up here? Charlie's Creek?

Tray is more than just a dirt road coming in from the Chimney Top side. I was up there this past week for work in the company Jeep JKU Rubicon... We drug belly once or twice and did a little 3 wheeling climbing through the really rutted section.

 

I'll have to check it out again then!

No, it's tray mountain road still... You just come up from Chimney Top rd off the road Unicoi Lodge is on.

Yeah going up the Chimney side is the best way to go. Then you get to haul ass on the dirt road section.

 

Saw this a few days ago and thought it was weird/cool, I liked how they did the running boards.
