Ever wonder how deep a river you can cross? Looks like at least 30" :)

Didn't officially measure it but the tires were completely under water at the deepest part and the tires are 30" tall so figured I was at least that deep. Just don't blame me if your truck ends up floating or hydrolocked (do not attempt at home yada yada)

FYI 2for2 Tacomas ripped off their front license plate/trim doing this so don't forget to swim back to get those lol.

I've cross about 20" but that freakes me out! And I'm lifted with 33's.
I'm mostly worried about sucking up water through CAI.

Until it's deep enough you have to roll up the window to avoid the wake coming in that's rolling back over the hood, just don't bother with the video.

And when you are climbing out of that same river, leaving the tailgate down will prevent it from acting as an anchor as it submerges.

 

What you need, is a boat-rated bumper; and some sand paddles.

No and its been over 200 miles. I've also done this many times before from Mud, to snow to water.

But again, obviously do stuff like this at your own risk. I'm on my 4th Tacoma and the only one to actually leave me stranded was my bullet proof 2nd gen, but even then I don't blame the truck. When you fuck around like I do shit happens
