I might have met some of you Thursday Night after midnight, that is if you were camping and had a small fire towards the front of electric camp.

Didn't even know we had a 1 diamond trail.

I'll sell you one of mine Or I know where to get more

So you know how I felt

    We do have two parks.

    Like what?
    A CVT RTT.

I hear that you can get those at any ticket raffle, unless you lose it, because you were one number off.

Anybody have some recovery stories aside from Shay's adventure?

Me and @PHTaco winched up a two-legged FJ that blew out his rear coming up a 4. He was stuck behind a few rough ledges where he grenaded his gears. As soon as everyone was safe on flat ground and the FJ clanked away toward camp we knew we had to tackle that trail ourselves. It took a little winch assist coming up it, but at least we made it out of there without a breakdown. I love these trucks and can't wait to do some more wheeling.

Nothing spectacular this year thankfully. I blew a CV coming up binders and had to winch myself up to flat ground.

I heard that trail claimed quite a few victims. I didn't get the chance to see it myself.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Maybe not much interest, maybe there is. The Golden Triangle group is growing pretty big, we might just start an event for you. And yes...we are dumb enough to drive over there for you. It looks to be only 660 miles. I've done that in a hard day's driving before.

Was it a heavier set guy? I am 99% sure he was the guy who also had a Quicksand 3rd Gen Taco that I was chatting with at the Stampede. Super cool guy. He said he had an FJ but he blew up the rear end, probably him.

    - - Recovery Story - -

We went down Linda Gail at night and took the final obstacle. I was riding shotgun in lead truck, driver @Tacodriver08 punched it, didn't make it, backed up, and flogged it. Got up, then immediately heard a PSHHHHHHH. Driver tire blew.

A few more people later, another front driver tire.

A group appeared behind us and while talking to a guy asking what happened, we noticed HIS tire was leaking.

So Linda Gail claimed THREE driver front tires in about 15 minutes....

I don't think he was heavy set, but then again I had lots of liquid courage throughout the day so it could have been the same guy.

Damn, 3 tires!? @ETXTacoma tore up a sidewall at some point too but I'm not sure what trail he was on.

That ledge on the last climb is sharp. Had a guy blow a tire during Turkey Trot.

I heard several stories of folks having to go to town for CV's, tie rods, etc.

If a Toyota dealer is going to be a major sponsor, what about having them bring spare parts and tools? They make money, people save time, everybody wins.

You're supposed to trade in your broken rig right there on the spot for a new shiny one.

That's what I was thinking. I mean, it's obvious that something like that should be done......
