Yeah mine arent as vertical as Bretts but I sacrificed some efficient shock use for clearance on my lower mounts. Should work well either way but i saw some fractures around the welds on the top stock shock mount which steered me to relocate as soon as I could lol.

Went through this same thing. Ended up calling rentals at airport and caught the light rail there.

No worries, we don't post much around here.

Am i correct to assume that the bolt should not be able to touch the bracket?

Aka I'll have to drill out the mount so the plastic washer is able to sit inside the hole keeping the cb bolt centered.

Think it needs to be a 3/8 or 1/2 hole can't remember which. Search CB specifics @WileECoyote alot of good information in that thread.

Headed out to Colorado in about 30 days just to drive around and check out the state. Denver, pikes peak , garden of the gods, the sand dunes, etc. If anyone can point me to a good thread or give me some good tips that would be great. I'll spend 5 to 7 days out there.

    Thanks.

Plan on making at least a trip out west each year, and moving out there when the kids graduate.
