Just had my head unit replaced (original would occasionally freeze at startup). The new unit has noticeably larger knobs - I'd guesstimate they're about an inch in diameter. No need to upgrade to the Hondo knobs now.

Is this "Maintenance" setting new? Don't remember seeing it before. Clicking each icon just shows the service date of that particular item - not too much use.

And I remember not being able to remove people from Favourites before... I now see a menu item (which might have already been there before?), but it's greyed out and inaccessible (I do have people added to Favourites)... anyone know how to actually remove someone from your favs?

Oh, and had the diff recall done. No leaks, no problems. Re-torqued the bolts, good to go. They had my truck for less than an hour for the entire thing.

The problem I had with the factory knobs wasn't the diameter. They were just too shallow.

Coincidently, that's what she said too. :(

I never worried about my knob before, but I feel like I should go measure it now to make sure it's bigger than OP's.

My build date was 3/28/2017 and my JBL unit knobs are the same as the pic above. I switched to the Hondo Knobs because the factory knobs were too hard to use because of the depth!! AND they look better TOO!!!

Some of them are useless, like tires, battery, brake pad, wipers...all those you just do when they wear out, not a specified mileage. Obviously oil filter will be done with oil too.

That being said, I like it. I set the personals for "CABIN FILTER" "SPARK PLUGS" and "BELT." I use the oil, brake fluid, and trans fluid ones too. They're great to be able to set the mileage for maintenance, instead of trying to remember "hmm...I think it's been ~12,000 since I did the air filter, but I don't remember."

JBL head unit, has maintenance page.
    Knobs look the same.
If you have any favorites added, you can remove them, otherwise it's greyed out.

Enjoy, hopefully the new unit fixes all your previous issues!

I just replaced my JBL Premium radio's knobs with Hondo. Love them! Huge difference as they stick out more than the OEM knobs. Get them!

Yep. I though "what the hell, I'll give em a try".
Who knew something as simple as a radio knob could be so great. Without a doubt, best cheap "mod" I spent on my truck.
