@Tiger14 I'm spray painting the exposed metal on the sliders. What did your frame look like after you took them off? how long did you have them on the truck?

 

Probably nothing lol. Not getting work done, but for my job, it's been 3 months.

 

I gave @Daria a can of the pant I use on the sliders for you. There was no rust on the frame at all when I took them off. Honestly if they're tight enough and both the slider and frame is clean when you put them on it should be fine.

I was thinking of using some lithium grease between the two... Think I should pass on that?

 

Yeah that's probably not needed and I'm not sure if that would help or hurt TBH. If rust develops just hit it with a wire wheel and paint it.
